Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Troop 10 attends summer camp at the Griswold Scout Reservation in Gilmanton, New Hampshire in August each year.  The Camps at Griswold Scout Reservation have provide amazing programs for our scouts, including sailing, swimming, merit badges, and traditional summer camp activities. Scouts that go to summer camp stay in scouting and enrich themselves and our troop with unforgettable camp experiences.

Early registration means better programming options and less crazy last-minute chaos.  Do your Daily Good Turn and take a few moments to submit the Pre-Registration and Adult Volunteer Forms. To provide the very best camp experience we need to know if your scout is planning to go to summer camp by March. We also need adults to commit to joining so that we will have enough adult supervision. Attending as an adult is a lot of fun and not a heavy lift!

 Information summer camp dates:
  • March: registration and deposit due
  • April: final payment and medical forms due
  • August: Hidden Valley & Bell Program (August 4 - 10, 2024)

Troop 10 believes that no scout should be excluded from Summer Camp due to financial hardship. Any family that is in need of financial assistance should speak to Troop 10 campership chair Charles Hatvany.  The information is kept confidential ([email protected]).
