A while back I read that Massachusetts is getting quarantine checked by phone, as we open we can't become bad at social distancing because it could get worse even though it is getting better. We need to wear a mask, continue social distancing and be vigilant about this to get back to normal life even though it is becoming tiring. —Scoutmaster McKee

This weekend is memorial day, which marks the unofficial start of summer, normally you should do activities, but we can't risk our elderly population. Normally my (Mr. McKees) family would visit relatives as a tradition, but due to COVID-19, they will not. Monday is for remembrance for the people of our country that died through military action, but we should also thank the people in the army reserves who are helping fight COVID-19 through setting up temporary shelters, administering tests, and helping clean nursing homes and keep thinking about memorial day. —Scoutmaster McKee

Mask order is enacted when you are too close to maintain social distancing, meaning on the bike path or in a store. Its a good idea to protect yourself and others, but you must realize not everyone can wear one, don't get mad if someone can't wear it due to medical condition you don't know about. Another example is the security guard v non mask wearer incident, where a security guard was shot over another person not wearing a mask. So don't get mad at strangers without a mask. protect yourself and be a good member of society, and try to protect others, so we can stop dragging this on. —Scoutmaster McKee

I don't know how long its been, missing school and friends and sports, kids do sports for fitness, in scouts we worry about mental and physical wellness, even if you dont do sports you should still be active, walk, run, bike to stay active. Everyone should keep moving, and keep their heart beating. —Scoutmaster McKee
