From Friday March 14th to Sunday March 16 Troop 10 spent the weekend in Jackson, NH. At 6:00 p.m. on Friday, the troop drove up to Jackson to the Schoch family’s ski house, where they stayed the night. Early the next morning, the scouts were up and ready to go skiing or snowboarding at Wildcat Mountain, just a short drive away. The troop spent all day at the mountain, and the conditions were very good. The area had received 18+ inches of snow the week before, and the temperatures just above freezing. The sun was out for a majority of the day, making it a beautiful day to spend on the mountain. After spending the day on the mountain the scouts returned to the Schoch’s house where they spent the night again. The boys had a video game tournament playing Mario Kart, that lasted long into the night. Scouts got up Sunday morning and drove back to Lexington.
